Fazenda São João is owned by Sr. Osvaldo Bachião, the 3rd of his generation to farm coffee. The farm is situated high in the hills surrounding Nova Rezende and although high in the mountains at 1,120 to 1,230 meters above sea level, the relatively level terrain has allowed mechanisation of approximately 95% of the harvest. The farm has 9 year-round employees and contracts an additional 20 during the harvest season, ensuring quality separation of microlots. The family always seeks to marry productivity with high quality. This exceptional Brazilian coffee is supported by coffees from the Sidamo region of Ethiopia and the Mbeya region of Tanzania.
